PANCHTHAR: A teenage girl has been raped in Miklajung rural municipality in the district.
Police arrested 57-year-old Krishna Bahadur Gahatraj of Miklajung rural municipality-4 on rape charges.
According to the complaint lodged by the victim, Gahatraj stealthily entered the house thorough a window and raped the girl at night of January 4.
“Gahatraj entered the house through the window and raped me while I was sleeping in my bed at night,” the victim said.
Police said they are investigating the case after filing a rape case against the perpetrator, said DSP Siddha Raj Neupane.
The victim is undergoing treatment at Panchthar District Hospital.
