Sandeep Lamichhane to leave for Australia on Tuesday for BBL



KATHMANDU: National leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane is scheduled to leave for Australia next week to play in the Big Bash League (BBL).

Raman Shiwakoti, the Technical Analyst of the national team who has been overseeing Sandeep’s management, said that Sandeep would leave for Australia on Tuesday.

Hobart Hurricanes has inducted Sandeep into its team for this season. The league started on Thursday in which Hurricanes is facing Sydney Sixers.

Sandeep will miss the first six games of the league as he has to stay in a quarantine facility for 14 days. It should be noted that Sandeep has already recovered from the pandemic.

He had grabbed 15 wickets in 13 games for Melbourne Stars last season.
