87-old man from Dailekh succumbs to coronavirus



DAILEKH: An 87-year-old man from Gurans Rural municipality-5 of Dailekh has died of COVID-19 in Karnali State Hospital in Surkhet.

He died on Thursday morning, according to the Health Services Division of the Ministry of Social Development.

He was admitted to the state hospital on November 29 after he complained to breathing complication, said Nawaraj Kandel, Health Education Officer at the Ministry of Social Development.

Kandel said that the coronavirus was confirmed by testing his PCR with an expert method on the day of admission.

He informed that the body was being managed with the help of the Public Health Office Surkhet and the Nepal Army.
