KIMFF starting in capital from today



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (KIMFF) is starting in the capital from today (Thursday).

Unlike before, KIMFF will showcase films virtually this year due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The films can be viewed through its official website www.kimff.org.

As many as 18 and 12 other movies including documentaries under Nepal Panorama will be screened.

As always, this year, too, the movies that deal with mountainous lifestyles, mountaineering, and adventures will be showcased.

The film festival will be inaugurated today with the new film ‘Looking for a Lady with Fangs and a Moustache’ directed by Bhutanese Film Director Norbu Rinpoche.

Film Director Rinpoche will also deliver a virtual speech during inauguration ceremony of the festival.
