US COVID-19 cases surpass 15.8 million

WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 15,819,835 in the United States of America after 225,234 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 6,296,793 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 9,226,344 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 296,698 with 3,243 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last December, the coronavirus has killed 1,574,821 and infected 69,213,839 globally until the filing of this news.
