Academic course on tourism and mountaineering to be conducted in various places soon



KATHMANDU: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai has said that the course about tourism and mountaineering would be commenced in various places across the country.

Inaugurating the courses on tourism and mountaineering in the Narayani Secondary School at Maiwakhola Rural Municipality in Taplejung district today, Minister Bhattarai said, “Nepal is a country having tremendous prospectus for tourism. Education on tourism and mountaineering are the need of the hour for country like Nepal.”

Stating that thousands of foreign tourists were arriving Nepal to climb mountains and for trekking and other adventure activities, Bhattarai pointed out the need to conduct the academic course on mountaineering and tourism in various places across the country.

Some schools had launched academic course on these subjects too.

Nepal Mountaineering Training Academy and Narayani Secondary School here had entered an agreement to conduct courses in tourism and mountaineering recently.
