India records 73,196 COVID-19 cases in a single day

KATHMANDU: India recorded 73,196 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 6,977,008.

Currently, 884,053 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 5,985,505 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 107,000-mark.

With 929 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 107,450, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
