17 including District Police Chief infected with coronavirus



SAPTARI: Chief of District Police Office, Saptari, and 16 others have been infected with coronavirus.

According to the District Health Office’s Acting Chief Duniyalal Yadav, 45-year-old Superintendent of Police, 45-year-old Deputy Superintendent of Police and others tested positive for the virus.

It is said that their PCR testing was conducted in Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj.

Currently, all the infected police personnel are in home isolation. So far, 57 police personnel got infected with the virus in the district of Saptari, according to the District Police Office.
