Six caught while trafficking a girl to India



RAUTAHAT: Police have arrested six people while they were trafficking a teenage girl to India at the wee hours of Thursday.

A police team led by Assistant Sub Inspector Meralal Prasad Gupta deployed from Police Post, Narkatiya arrested them from Paroha municipality-7, Chiran Chowk at 1 pm today.

The arrested are Anil Patel, 20, of Maulapur municipality-8, Dipendra Patel, 20, Arbinda Thakur, 19, of ward no 5, Dhananjaya Tiwari, 20, Dipesh Yadav, 17, and Ram Balak Patel, 22.

They were held while they were trafficking an 18-year-old girl (Yadav by surname) of Fatuwa Bijayapur municipality-5 to India.

Police they are investigating the case by taking the arrested into custody.
