DAO, Bhaktapur starts colleting details for nat’l ID cards



KATHMANDU: District Administration Office (DAO) Bhaktapur has started collecting details of individuals for national identity cards.

DAO,Bhaktapur inaugurated the program by collecting the details of Lawmaker Mahesh Basnet on Sunday afternoon, said Chief District Officer Humkala Pandey.

“The collection of necessary details for the distribution of national identity cards has started in all 70 districts including Bhaktapur,” said Basnet, adding, “The national identity cards will be districted to 10 million people  in the fiscal year 2020/21.”

The government has planned to distribute national identity cards to all the Nepali people in the next three years.
