NC President Deuba picks heads for 10 departments



KATHMANDU: President Sher Bahadur Deuba has appointed chiefs of 10 different departments of the party, despite warnings by senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel.

Paudel had warned the leadership not to make appointments violating the code of conduct of the general convention.

Deuba has entrusted Former Vice President Gopalman Shrestha with the responsibility of Organization Department, Hari Prasad Nepal with the responsibility of education.

Similarly, Mahendra Yadav has been picked as the head of Coordination Department, Formulha Mansur as the head of Muslim Department, Ajaya Kumar Chaurasiya as Tarai Madhesh Coordination Department and Ramesh Rijal as the chief of Federal Affairs and Province Coordination Department.

Similarly, Ambika Basnet has been appointed as the head of the Forest Environment Department, Ananda Dhungana as the Financial and Cooperative Coordination Department, Arjun KC as Local Level Coordination Department, and Bir Bahadur Balayar as the Construction Entrepreneurs Coordination Department.
