CM Raut directs security agencies for high alertness



JANAKPURDHAM: Chief Minister of State-2, Lalbabu Raut, has directed all three security agencies to stay in high alertness in the wake of the monsoon causing landslide and floods in the State.

In the meeting of the disaster management committee held at his office on Friday, CM Raut reminded that all eight districts in the State were in high risk of disaster, so the security agencies must be prepared to minimize the risks.

He also garnered information about the preparation the security agencies and Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law made to cope up disaster risks. The CM also directed for the quick supply of necessary materials to be used for risk minimization and rescue operation.

According to CM Raut’s press coordinator Atish Mishra, the meeting was attended by Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, Bijay Kumar Yadav; Mayor of Janakpur Metropolis, Lal Kishor Saha; Chief Attorney, Dipendra Jha; Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Gyanendra Kumar Yadav; Chief Secretary, Secretaries and chiefs of State security agencies.
