Indian Embassy saddened by loss of lives in Nepal’s floods, landslides



KATHMANDU: The Indian Embassy in Kathmandu has expressed sadness over the loss of lives and property caused by floods and landslides in various districts of Nepal including Sindhupalchok.

“We express our deepest sympathies to the bereaved families and to all those affected,” the Embassy said in a tweet on Friday.

As many as 31 people have been killed and dozens are missing due to incessant rainfall-triggered landslides and floods throughout the country.
