Sports Ministry announces vacancy for NSC Member Secretary



KATHMANDU: Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS) has announced vacancy for the post of highly deemed key portfolio of Member Secretary of National Sports Council (NSC) on Friday.

Issuing a seven-day notice today, the Ministry has asked all the eligible candidates for the post of Member Secretary of the national sports governing body.

The post of Member Secretary has gone vacant with the enforcement of the new Sports Act. Then incumbent Member Secretary, Ramesh Kumar Silwal was redeemed of the post as new act requires selection of all office bearers as per the new regulations.

MoYS has asked the applicant to submit a short action plan while applying for the post. Other requirements for the applicant are completion of a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the sports sector.
