KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staff Purna Chandra Thapa has congratulated the newly-appointed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Shailesh Thapa Chhetri.
Nepal Army (NA) Chief Thapa met IGP Chhetri at Nepal Police Headquarters on Friday and congratulated Chhetri on his appointment to the post and wished for his successful tenure.
During the meeting, the duo also discussed issues of mutual interest, cooperation and coordination between the two organizations.
NA Chief Thapa handed over books and khukuri to IGP Chhetri while IGP Chhetri gifted a token of love to the NA Chief.
