179 Nepalis return home from Oman



KATHMANDU: A total of 179 Nepalis stranded in Oman due to closure of international flights returned home on Friday.

They landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) this afternoon through the third chartered flight of Salam Air.

According to the Nepali Embassy in Oman, 33 women, 146 men, two minors and a three-month-old baby were among the returnees. All of them have their reports negative for COVID-19.

Earlier, 313 Nepalis had returned home from Oman through two chartered flights.
