Nepal’s COVID-19 tally hits 109 as seven more cases reported



KATHMANDU: The number of Coronavirus infection cases has climbed to 109 in Nepal as seven new cases were reported on Saturday morning.

According to Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari, Joint Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, three women aged 18, 45, and 65 of Udyapur, Bhulke have been diagnosed with the novel virus.

Similarly, the remaining four diagnosed with the virus are men aged 17, 18, 18 of Kapilvastu and 62 of Parsha, Chhapkaiya.

Their swabs samples were tested at Koshi Zonal Hospital in Biratanagar and National Public Health Laboratory, Teku, according to the Ministry.

Earlier, on Friday, one new COVID-19 case had been confirmed in Nepalgunj.
