Coronavirus infection cases climb to 59, 695 in India



KATHMANDU: India has reported 1, 985 deaths after 96 died in the last 24 hours. With 3,344 new cases, the number of infection cases has reached 59, 695 after Saturday morning.

Currently, 39, 823 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country while 17, 887 have returned home after recovery. The India government has performed tests on 1,437,788 people for Coronavirus so far.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 212 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 275,934 and infecting 4,009,854 people as of Saturday morning.
