Italy reports 30,201 deaths, 217, 185 infection cases



KATHMANDU: Italy has reported 243 deaths in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 30,201 as of Saturday morning.

The number of infection cases in the country has reached 217, 185 after 1,327 new cases were reported, the third highest in terms of infection cases, after Spain and America, according to Worldometer.

Currently, 87,961 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 1,168 are critical. Meanwhile, 99,023 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 212 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 275,934 and infecting 4,009,854 people as of Saturday morning.
