Coronavirus death toll climbs to 9, 992 in Brazil after 804 die in 24 hrs



KATHMANDU: Brazil has witnessed a surge in the deaths of people from Coronavirus of late. According to Worldometer, the death toll has reached 9, 992 after 804 died in the last 24 hours.

With 10, 199 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 145, 892 as of Saturday morning.

Currently, 80, 550 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 8, 318 are critical. Meanwhile, 55, 350 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 212 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 275,934 and infecting 4,009,854 people as of Saturday morning.
