SURKHET: A minor has been arrested on the charge of stealing Rs 1.5 million. Police took a child under control on Monday on the charge of looting the amount from the house of lawyer Nanda Bahadur Bhandari at Birendranagar municipality-6.
According to the District Police Office, the child was arrested on the basis of a complaint filed against him by Bhandari. Police have not revealed the name of the child.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabi Rawal said, “We have seized Rs 120,000 from the child. It has been revealed that others were also involved in the incident and a search for them is underway.”
