Two killed in separate vehicular accidents

BIRATNAGAR: Two people have died in separate vehicular accidents in Province 1.

The deceased has been identified as 48-year-old Moni Maya Giri of Inaruwa-6, Sunsari. The incident took place after an oil-loaded tanker heading to east from west hit a pedestrian at Gholapati on Sunday evening.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the tanker and its driver under control.

Similarly, a man died in a motorcycle accident in Belbari Municipality-9.

The deceased has been identified as Tej Bahadur Dhimal of Belbari Municipality-10.

According to police, the incident took place after the motorcycle Dhimal was riding went out of control.
