CHITWAN: A person was killed when a truck hit him in Narayangadh of Chitwan last night.
The victim has been identified as Thakur Paudel, a resident of Kawasoti municipality-17 of Nawalpur district.
He was hit by a truck bearing registration number Ba 1 Kha 1859 at Pulchowk Bajaar in Narayanghat.
Seriously injured Paudel was rushed to a hospital where he breathed his last in the course of treatment, District Police Office said.
Police have arrested the truck driver and impounded the truck.
