60 health workers to quarantine Nepali evacuees from China



KATHMANDU: Some 60 health workers will be mobilized to quarantine Nepalis to be evacuated from China’s Hubei currently reeling under the epidemic of coronavirus.

Joint Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Sagar Dahal said that 60 health workers have been kept on standby to quarantine the evacuees.

According to Dahal, the health workers will be mobilized from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to an isolation place.

“We have already identified the health workers to be deployed,” Dahal told Khabarhub, “They will be provided with an orientation training regarding the quarantine.”

Prime Minister KP Oli has already directed the concerned to arrange Shivapuri, Ichangunarayan, Suryabinayak and Kharipati for quarantine of Nepali students.
