Oscars 2020: When to watch the Academy Awards

KATHMANDU: The Oscar or the 92nd Academy Awards is taking take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

In Nepal, people can watch the Oscars ceremony on Monday (February 10) at 6:45 am.

The Oscars are going host-less, just like last year, this year as well.

The Academy members will have a tough choice to make this time as several films, which have already won different awards already have also been nominated.

There are big names this time such as Joaquin Phoenix-starrer Joker or Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman, or Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time in Hollywood contending for the coveted trophy.

Joker has been leading with 11 nominations so far.

Likewise, a change that has been made for this year’s Oscars is that the foreign-language category will now be called Best International Feature Film, in which Korean film ‘Parasite’ has been nominated.
