Ichchhakamana municipality supports 1.1 million for cricket stadium



CHITWAN: The Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality in Chitwan has provided financial assistance for the under-construction Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium in the district.

The rural municipality assisted Rs 1.1 million for the project being constructed with the support of the Dhurmus- Suntuli Foundation.

Chairperson of the rural municipality, Geeta Kumari Gurung, vice-chair Kriti Kumar Shrestha and chief administrative officer Sukadev Lamsal jointly handed the amount to the project at a Mahayagya, a religious event, being held to the raise funds for the project.
