Minister Gurung directs to resolve internet issues



KATHMANDU: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Parbat Gurung has directed the telecom regulatory authority and other communication agencies to improve internet service in the country.

Addressing staffers in course of monitoring the National Information Technology Centre in Singha Durbar today, he said the service recipients have many complaints about internet service, hence it must be addressed immediately.

He also directed the NITC office-bearers to move ahead by developing a 10-year action plan for IT development in the country. The government IT agencies need to expand more services to establish themselves as efficient service providers.
