Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll hits 1,126 with 18 new fatalities



KATHMANDU: A total of 18 people died of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus death toll has reached 1,126 as of Monday afternoon with the new deaths.

Similarly, as many as 2,571 people were diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 has reached 197,024 with fresh cases as of Monday afternoon.

A total of 11,177 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

A total of 1,798 individuals were discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 159,724 in the country.

Nepal currently has 36,174 active cases.

Likewise, 967 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.
