Three more COVID-19 infected die in Morang

MORANG: Three additional people infected with COVID-19 have died in the course of treatment at separate hospitals in Morang district.

The deceased are from Jhapa, Udayapur and Siraha. A 65-year-old woman from Triyuga municipality-11 died in the course of treatment at Birat Teaching Hospital on Monday morning.

The sexagenarian had been hospitalized on Saturday after testing positive for coronavirus.

According to Sunil Dev, the in-charge of the isolation ward of the hospital, she died at 6 ma today.

Similarly, a 42-year-old man of Damak municipality-1, Jhapa, died at Birat Nursing Home at 7 am today, according to the hospital administration.

The patient had been admitted to the hospital on October 25 after being diagnosed with the virus.

Likewise, a 65-year-old of Siraha man passed away in the course of treatment at Nobel Teaching Hospital on Sunday night.

The elderly had been admitted to the isolation of the hospital on October 28 after testing positive for the virus, according to Narayan Dahal, the manager of the hospital.
