Minister Gyawali inspects hydro projects in Rasuwa



RASUWA: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali Friday visited two hydro projects Rasuwa district.

Minister Gyawali visited the projects in course of inspecting country’s northern border near Rasuwagadhi.

The minister also visited Syaphrubeshi based 22- megawatt Chilime Hydroelectric Project and 60-Megawatt Upper Trishuli-1 Hydroelectric Project.

The Chilime Project had started generating power since 2060 BS and Upper Trishuli-1 started generating power last year.

Chief District Officer (CDO) Hari Prasad Panta said that Minister Gyawali visited the sites.

Minister Gyawali also inspected Galchhi-Rasuwagadhi International Highway.
