Two more men die of COVID-19 in Dharan

KATHMANDU: Two people have died from coronavirus in the course of treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.

The deceased are a 68-year-old man of Itahari Sub Metropolitan City-6 and a 52-year-old male of Duhabi, Sunsari.

Sexagenarian from Itahari, who had been hospitalized at the COVID hospital of the Institute on Thursday (October 8), tested positive for the virus on the same day. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment on Thursday night.

Similarly, the 52-year-old man from Duhabi, who had been admitted to the hospital on September 28, succumbed to the virus at 2 am today, informed Nidesh Sapkota, the information officer for the Institute.

He had tested positive for coronavirus on September 28. He was also suffering from kidney ailment.
