Police uniform banned in films, music videos, TikTok



KATHMANDU: Nepal Police Headquarters said it has been concerned about the misuse of its uniform by telefilms, films, music videos and TikTok.

Issuing a press note on Tuesday, Police Headquarters has urged all the concerned to take permission prior to using police uniforms in the films and telefilms.

“Permission is mandatory before using police uniform, insignia and monograms for any purposes,” reads the statement.

Meanwhile, Nepal Police Headquarters has warned that it would take necessary action against those who are found misusing police uniform, insignia among others.
