India’s COVID-19 cases surpass 6.9 million

KATHMANDU: India recorded 70,818 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 6,903,806.

Currently, 894,082 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 5,903,170 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 106,000-mark.

With 1,000 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 106,554, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
