Banke witnesses 52 new coronavirus cases



NEPALGUNJ: Banke saw 52 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, including 12 staffers of Tulsipur high Court, Nepalgunj Bench.

According to Naresh Shrestha, the Coronavirus Focal Person of District Health Office Banke, the new cases were confirmed in the test carried out at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj.

The hospital stated that six cases of coronavirus are from Gulariya, Bardiya.

According to focal person Shrestha, the court has seen a dozen coronavirus cases.

With this, the number of coronavirus cases in Banke has reached 1,324.

Banke got 77 persons discharged on Wednesday making the number of the discharged cases 915 till date.

Among the discharged, 51 are the Nepal Army soldiers of Kaushilanagar Barrack.
