40 including 7 security officials test positive for COVID-19 in Nawalparasi

SUNWAL: Forty individuals including seven security personnel have been infected with coronavirus in Nawalparasi West.

According to District Health Office, 27 among those infected are from Sunwal municipality.

The infected security personnel are from Sunwal municipality. Seven security personnel were confirmed to have been infected during contract tracing.

Similarly, 11 are from Palhinandan rural municipality and two from Ramgram municipality.

With this, the number of coronavirus infection cases has reached 212 in the district.

The swab test reports of 549 people are yet to come out, said District Health Office, Nawalparasi West.

Three people have died from the coronavirus in the district so far.
