67-year-old succumbs to coronavirus in Lalitpur

KATHMANDU: A person undergoing treatment at Alka Hospital in Jawalakhel has died of coronavirus.

The 67-year-old male of Kathmandu’s Bishalnagar breathed his last on Tuesday evening, according to the hospital sources.

He was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday morning and was being treated on a ventilator.

The deceased was a diabetic with high blood pressure, the hospital said.

The report of his swab collected on Tuesday had come out positive.
