Govt committed to building equitable society: PM Oli



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has said that the government was committed to building an equitable society with the guarantee of economic equality.

He said that people from all indigenous communities will have access to and representation at various aspects and at all levels.

In a message on the occasion of the 26th International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, PM Oli said that the State has the policy of equality, security and justice to the people from all ethnicities along with their socioeconomic, cultural, lingual upliftment and development.

With this policy, the national ambition of ‘prosperous Nepal-happy Nepali’ will be achieved, he added.

Although the government faced the socio-economic and health hazards caused by the global pandemic of coronavirus, it is determined to work ahead to achieve the national ambition.

He appealed to everyone to observe the Day by maintaining safety measures.
