NCP leaders suggest Oli and Dahal to refrain from flexing muscles

KATHMANDU: Leaders of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) have suggested party leadership, including Prime Minister KP Oli and Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal to refrain from flexing muscles on social media and streets, and focus on party unity.

Some Standing Committee members of the NCP held a meeting and suggested the leadership to refrain from encouraging youths to demonstrate in the streets.

Such activities, they said, would further create problems and aggravate the situation.

The meeting was attended by leaders, including Province 5 Chief Minister Shankar Pokhrel, Agriculture Minister Ghanashyam Bhusal, Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali, Forest Minister Shakti Basnet, Tourism Minister Yogesh Bhattarai, Energy Minister Barsha Man Pun, among others.

Likewise, Prime Minister KP Oli’s political advisor Bishnu Rimal, leaders Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, Surendra Pandey, and Janardan Sharma were also in the meeting.
