Land surveyor dragged to court for graft



KATHMANDU: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case at the Special Court against Rajendra Kafle, a surveyor at the Survey Office, Bhaktapur.

A case was filed against Kafle on Tuesday accusing of earning property worth of Rs 54.32 million through illegal means.

According to CIAA, he bought land in Bhaktapur and Kavre at high prices from the money he had illegally acquired by abusing his position while in public office and hid it in his wife’s name.
