40 Indians decamp with quarantine materials in Mahottari



MAHOTTARI: As many as 40 people living in Samsi Rural Municipality’s quarantine have fled with the materials provided in the quarantine.

Out of 45 India returnees living in Samsi based Janata Secondary School’s quarantine for more than 14 days, 40 have decamped with the goods from the quarantine.

According to Sunil Kumar Yadav, the incharge of Samsi-7-based quarantine, The absconders quarantined were from different places of India, including neighbouring Gaidha, Bhetpur, Pokharvinda, Sangrampur and Samsi villages.

Yadav said though a written application was registered at the rural municipality, ward office and police post about the incident, no action has been so far taken to search for the absconders.
