Coronavirus death toll crosses 6,000 in UK



KATHMANDU: The number of death toll from coronavirus in the United kingdom has reached 6, 159 after 786 died in the last 24 hours.

According to Worldometer, 3, 634 new cases were reported in a single day, taking the total infection cases to 55, 242 in the country.

Currently, 48, 948 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals, of which 1, 559 are critical.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 209 countries and two international conveyances across the world as of Wednesday morning.
