KATHMANDU: Coronavirus has claimed 1, 924 people, the highest number ever in a single day, in the United States of America, taking the total number of deaths to 12, 795.
According to Worldometer, the number of infection cases has reached 395, 644 in the country after 28, 640 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
Currently, 361, 175 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across America, of which 9, 169 are critical. Only 21, 674 have recovered after treatment in the country so far.
Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 209 countries and two international conveyances across the world as of Wednesday morning.
