KATHMANDU: The Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) says there has been a remarkable progress in the health condition of Prime Minister KP Oli.

In a press statement issued on Sunday, TUTH said Prime Minister Oli has been made to stroll around. He has also been provided with normal food on Sunday.

A TUTH statement says, “PM Oli is undergoing physiotherapy and is vital lab indexes are normal.”

PM Oli is recuperating after he underwent a kidney transplant last Wednesday.

PM Oli’s transplanted kidney is functioning well as the metabolic by-products in his body have been flushed out through urine, the hospital said.

Likewise, the health condition of Samikshya Sangraula, a lady from Jhapa, who donated the kidney to PM Oli, is also stable and she has started to walk around, doctors have said.
