KATHMANDU: Jawalakhel Youth Club (JYC) defeated 10-man Friends Club 1-0 to move to the fifth position in the Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League.

Foreign recruit Fode Fofona scored the match-winner in the 58th minute of the game.

Friends’ De Saulo was red-carded in the 62nd minute.

With three points from the game, JYC has moved to the fifth position with 18 points from 11 matches.

Nepal Army is atop of the league with Machhindra Club following it.
