DOHA: The Embassy of Nepal in Doha launched the Visit Nepal 2020 campaign in Qatar.

Ambassador of Nepal to the State of Qatar Narad Nath Bharadwaj and Farhan Al Sheikh Al Sayed, Founder and Patron of Qatar Extreme Sports and President of International Walking Football Federation Qatar inaugurated the campaign by lighting the traditional lamp.

A short video on Nepal’s tourism attractions and highlights was presented during the ceremony.

Likewise, a presentation was also made on the Visit Nepal 2020 campaign, major tourist destinations of Nepal and the imperatives for visiting Nepal in 2020 during the ceremony.

Addressing the ceremony, Ambassador Dr. Bharadwaj talked about the ‘close and cordial’ relations between Nepal and Qatar.

He said that the two countries are exploring collaboration in new areas, especially in the economic sector.

Ambassador Dr. Bhardwaj also highlighted Nepal’s tourism prospects and appealed to the Qatari nationals as well as members of the expatriate community in Qatar to visit Nepal in 2020 with family and friends.

Visiting Nepal in 2020 also means supporting Nepal’s aspiration for peace, progress, and prosperity, he said.

Likewise, he also encouraged travel and tour operators in Qatar to cash in on the high potentials of attractive tour packages in Nepal.
