Rain amidst thunderstorms forecast today: MFD



KATHMANDU: Meteorologists have forecast rain amidst thunderstorms in various places including the Kathmandu Valley on Wednesday.

Rains accompanied by thunderstorms are likely in various parts of the country including the capital due to westerly wind, Samir Shrestha, a meteorologist at the Meteorological Forecasting Division (FMD), told Khabarhub.

The weather will remain clear during the day and again will be cloudy towards the evening with chances of rains and thunderstorms. The same kind of weather pattern is likely to continue until Thursday.

Similarly, snowfall is likely in the mountainous region. The weather will gradually improve from Friday.
