KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index decreased by 9.04 points on Tuesday to reach 1995.35.
Likewise, the Sensitive Index fell 2.59 points to 380.18.
The transaction amount has also declined on Tuesday. A total of 12.4 million shares of 202 companies were traded at a turnover of Rs 5.67 billion today.
All sub-indices except hydropower and mutual funds declined on Tuesday. Hydropower increased by 83.89 points and mutual funds by 0.09 points.
The banking sub-index declined by 7.69 points, trade by 86.4 points, hotels by 8.12 points, development banks by 31.86 points, and finance by 15.12 points.
Similarly, non-life insurance declined by 131.75 points, manufacturing by 104.76 points, others by 18.52 points, microfinance by 104.76 points, and insurance sub-index by 120.66 points.
Investors of Narayani Development Bank earned the most while investors of Everest Insurance lost the most.
