India’s COVID-19 cases surpass 9.7 million



NEW DELHI: India recorded 27,107 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 9,703,908.

Currently, 385,269 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 9,177,645 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 140,900 mark.

With 404 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 140,994, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.
