219 COVID-19 cases added to Province 1 tally, six discharged on Sunday

BIRATNAGAR:  Province 1 witnessed 219 new cases in last 24 hours making the province case tally 21,884 on Sunday.

According to the Ministry of Social Development of Province 1, out of 976 swabs tested in various labs in the province, 75 female and 144 male came out with coronavirus positive result.

The province saw 103 cases in Morang, 48 in Sunsari, 33 in Jhapa, 8 in Tehrathum, 6 in Ilam, 2 in Udayapur and 1 each in Paanchthar, Bhojpur and Khotang in last 24 hours. The province labs found 14 coronavirus cases outside the province in last 24 hours. The province case tally has now reached 21,884.

Similarly, the province got six discharged from various places today making the discharge number 14,173 now.
