Over 500 active cases in eight districts, zero in six



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has stated that eight out of 77 districts in Nepal have over 500 active coronavirus cases.

Morang and Sunsari of Province 1, Dhanusha and Sarlahi of Province 2, Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Chitwan of Bagmati Province and Rupandehi of Province 5 have more than 500 active cases, the ministry said.

Meanwhile, six districts—Taplejung, Manang, Mustang, Dolpa, Humla and Mugu—have no active cases.
